When brothers Ned and Joven were still kids, their father, Mr. Rudy Bañez was already into Sports "Sabong". From his own breeding, he won several local derbies. He got his namesake "Mr. YES", coz once his fighting cocks was released, he cheered "YES YES YES" until the match was ended. Now at age 72, he is always rejuvenated every time he has game fowls scheduled to fight for the day. It serves as Viagra that keeps him alive.

Ned during his teens, used to sell cigarettes at Santiago Cockpit. There opened his door for the sports and dream that someday he will have his own breeding to be recon with. In 2000, He got his first breeding materials from Tony Trebol through his friend Jimmy Ang. Out from those breeding materials, some have won in derbies for Jimmy Ang,s entry. It became an inspiration for Ned, a novice breeder, to produce more and to come up with an almost complete fighter.

While Joven, was a varsity player during his high school and college days. As a point guard, he leads Letran Knights to the championship against San Beda in SY 92-93. After his stints with Serg,s and Red Bull Teams in the PABL, Joven ventures into Aqua Business. Like their father, he also has PASSION for game fowls. Without time for breeding, he acquired battle cocks from famous breeders in Bacolod which he entered in derbies in Cagayan Valley.

With the emergence of new breeds that are getting more and more competitive, Ned and Joven decided to start serious breeding. They acquire quality breeding materials both from local and the US. They adopt a mountain which is ideal to raise game fowls and named the farm after "BUWAYA CREEK". the entrance to the Nueva Viscaya Eco-Tourism Park. From the park, a 7 km 4x4 adventure ride towards the farm site.

The first produce got the attention of MULAWIN group of Chairman Rudy Albano and Jimmy Ang. The group entered Buwaya Creek game fowls in full show and eventually the cocks do the talking. From then on, MULAWIN acquires stags and cocks yearly for their use in several gamefowl associations such as NCA, GCAP, PCAP, NFGB, UGBA, Rambulan and other invitational derbies.
